Singer / Songwriter / Producer Todd Tate leads the new recording and performing group
“Life Love Misery”. A rock player with a jazz background Todd studied Jazz Composition
and Arranging at San Jose State University with a minor in Audio production and Film
Scoring. Moving to San Francisco in 1992 Todd played with many bands throughout the 90’s
and into the 2000’s. Also co-owning The Blue Room Studios in San Francisco from 94-97,
as an Engineer Todd worked on Grammy Nominated Latin Jazz release “Ritmo Y Candela – African Crossroads II” – Carlos “Patato” Sanchez, and attracted super star band Train into the studio to work on their Sony Double Platinum release.

Kenny Stavropoulos’ career as a rock drummer has enjoyed many highs such as performing the
Earth Day Concert in front of 250,000 people in attendance with “The Starship”. Also touring
Japan and the States with Shred band ”Cacophony” Kenny cut his teeth with some of the sharpest
players in guitar god rock. Enjoying his time in Marin, Kenny also played an instrumental part in
recording many Marin based acts such The Mad Hannans at his Bay Street Studios. Kenny truly
enjoys the art of drumming where every move is a performance, and plays according to the reason
we are all here: the song. Kenny was instrumental in getting the production of this collection
of songs recorded.

Mario Previti, bassist, engineer, producer & songwriter began his professional music career
with Massacre Records’ recording artists Psychosis in the 90′s. This initial foray in the
industry propelled him into recording and touring opportunities across the United States
and Europe thus fueling his desire to delve deeper into studio engineering. Studying under
the best in the business Previti attended the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences.
Upon graduating with a 4.0 GPA he quickly moved into one of the biggest studios in California,
The Plant Recording Studios where he worked with top engineers & artists as a 2nd engineer.
Mario was also instrumental in getting the production of this collection of songs recorded
and mixed.

Immediately after finishing the recording video production group “project brainchild” invited
Life Love Misery to invade Green Day’s “Studio 880″ complex in Oakland and do a psychedelic
video for the song “Sleeping Dogs” that can be found on YouTube. The production was commissioned by the SF MusicTech Summit, which Todd is involved with as a “Community Architect”.

Life Love Misery is an 8-piece alternative rock / pop group that brings a big sound to life
with a string quartet. Tate’s vocal is a baritone that has been compared to David Bowie and
Peter Murphy, and his guitar playing to Harvey “The Snake” Mandel.

Marin County based guitarist Brett Boyd has been added to round out the live sound. The group
has also recently enlisted the services of Rebecca Roudman, a talented Cellist that has a knack
for all things eclectic that will be bringing in other talent from the area to complete the
string quartet.
